The Sound in the Forest
Poem by Wes Pinter, inspired by the beautiful artwork of Tomasz Alen Kopera
The forest was particularly noisy that day!
But it wasn’t the tapping of Woodpeckers building a home,
Or the sweet songs being sung by Robins,
Or even the warm buzzing of the Bumblebees pollinating the flowers nearby.
It was the loud, rapid beating of their hearts that rose above it all.
