I See A Bee With An Allergy
Poem by Wes Pinter, artist unknown
Rest up little bee
You’re quite tired, I see
From the miles and miles of flying
Over fields, green and gold
Making honey to be sold
By the humans who poison your offspring
It’s a difficult task
‘Cause they don’t make a mask
For a bee who’s allergic to pollen
First you cough, then you sneeze
Now you must grab some Zzz’s
Your head aches and your sinuses are swollen
Take a nap on the knoll
Your hard work took it’s toll
But without you, the Queen would be grieving
Soon you’ll be on your way
Working hard through the day
Then chillax and catch a buzz in the evening

We owe a lot to bees and they have been disappearing at an alarming rate. If you see one, please don’t kill it. Just let it bee! 👍🐝😎
That’s adorable! Love the accompanying playlist as well 🐝❤️

Thanks Maria! I probably spent as much time selecting the songs as I did writing the poem, so I’m really happy that you enjoy the playlist, too! 🎧 🐝❤️
